http://cincypsychfest.com/ Organizers Laura Dolan, Laura Skaggs and local creative shop, We Have Become Vikings are proud to announce the first annual Cincy Psych Fest on Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at Mayday in Northside. The festival will feature two stages of psychedelic and garage rock music performed by popular local and national acts. Dedicated to the re-surging genre, Cincinnati Psych Fest aims to pair bands steeped in the sounds of 60′s psychedelia, with those bending and melting the genre’s barriers in a more modern approach. The event’s first year home, Mayday, will also be doing something different for the festival. For the first time ever, in addition to the regular indoor stage, Mayday will feature an outdoor stage perched upon the second floor deck. Playing times for the bands will be staggered throughout the evening to allow for maximum band viewing opportunities for the attendees.
