On Friday, November 28th, Possum Jenkins will return to the friendly confines of The Garage for our 10th annual post-Thanksgiving show in the Twin Cities. After you finish raiding the leftovers for the third time that day, come downtown and check out the best show in town. Opening the show will be Winston-Salem's own bluesman extraordinaire, Peter May. Possum's set will feature special guests Molly McGinn (Wurlitzer Prize, Amelia's Mechanics) and David McCracken (Donna The Buffalo, Sam Frazier, Folkswaggin). Doors at 8. Show at 9. Music be 21 or accompanied by an adult.
On Saturday, October 4th, Possum Jenkins will headline the inaugural Carolina Ramble & Reunion. In addition to PJ, the event will feature several acts from the Possum family, including Soul Benefactor, Wurlitzer Prize and The Worthless Son-In-Laws, as well as short solo sets from Molly McGinn, Nathan Turner, Sanders Willis and more. The family-friendly event will feature games and activities for festival-goers young and old, as well as camping and a catered dinner courtesy of Boone's own F.A.R.M. Cafe.
