Modern Slang / Press

“Modern Slang is a relatively new band from the Memphis rock scene. The group consists of a group of young people in their twenties and Jaeci King (vocals), Kris Sharp and Scotty Ogden (guitar), Ben Morrell (bass) and drummer Ryan Saucier on drums, playing mainly unpolished Southen Rock and blues. Although Modern Slang arose from The Sw agger and present now a first EP. The 6 tracks are canned in the studio are all self-driving classic rock 'n' roll tunes that are topped with great riffs. The songs are so true all on the same line, but the idea that these youth pleasure in creating the rock sound gives us joyful hope for the future. These newcomers from the Memphis rock scene, will capture the world in overdrive.”
