“Henry Kevin Edwards is some kind of monster when he gets to playing that guitar with a band and everything is going right. The girls shake their butts and everybody dances and has a good time. Its like the blues back in the day.His own parents broke his hand trying to maul him and he comes from a town where phohibition still exists so when he is in a bar playing music its really fun for him.Mr Edwards and the audience are mutually satisfied after the performance is over.It seems it is good for both of them.”

“Local Art Walk is a Success! Many people showed up to enjoy art, food, and music in Downtown Lucedale this past weekend.Local merchants and artists displayed their works and talents as folks from several states checked out the event.Local musicians performed and enjoyed the evening weather as everyone walked and chatted in downtown Lucedale.Double D(Darwin and Dana Nelson) Ronnie Davis and Kyle Rife stopped by and performed as they were making their way towards the coast for another show. The city plans to have more artwalks this Summer. They are set to be around the last Friday of every month.Check the George County Times or Lucedale.org for more information.”

“Edwards has the most amazing guitar sound.Sometimes he plays acoustics or bass but when he plays electric guitar in his special way it is unique and remarkable. He works on all of his guitars himself and he even has ideas for some guitar inventions.”

“Songwriter hoping to inspire a little compassion. Some 23 years ago ,the Press Register carried a story about an area songwriter who'd gotten ticked off at what he saw as political arrogance. That same writer,Stephen Lewis, recently took stock of the national situation and felt a familiar irritation. It was strong enough to drive him to a local recording studio, where he laid down an updated version called"Dear Mr. Somebody".”

“Irvington Fisherman trying to help homeless with a song."Theres things people in the government acan do and things people in this town can do to help the homeless.I am looking for someone to get my songs recorded and out there.I am willing to donate 100 % of the profits from some of these songs.”
