Miranda Rose / Press

““You Don’t Get to Say,” written and sung by Miranda Rose, is one of the few rockers on the Discoveries Playlist. The recent Austin transplant moved from Orange County, California, with her husband Rob last year to pursue her music. Since landing, she’s been busy making that dream come true — learning to play guitar and networking. Fun fact: she’s even documented her Austin home search for an episode of the popular HGTV series, “House Hunters.” Way cool!”

“Fourteen finalists will also appear on the 2012 Discoveries Playlist including seven other artists from Austin, Texas (Emily Wolfe, Karen Chisholm, Naga Valli, Brooklyn James, Sue Young, Miranda Rose and Juliana Murphy). The winner and finalists were selected from nearly 100 contest entries and judged by two esteemed Austin musicians, Sally Crewe (Sally Crewe and the Sudden Moves) and Christa Hillhouse (Four Non Blondes) as well as two music industry veterans, artist manager Emily Lichter (Sallie Ford, Erin McKeown) and Clear Channel radio programmer Julie Pilat of KYSR and KIIS-‐FM in Los Angeles. Each of the finalists will be profiled in MEOWgazine over the next few months.”

“Miranda Rose - ATXpodcast interview episode was downloaded over 1400 times!!! Just wanted you to know, you've got the record for most downloads of any episode of the ATX Architects Podcast Show!”

“Miranda Rose has been played on Women of Substance Radio for over 3 years and was amongst the first group of Indie Artists to join our roster. With music that is upbeat, inspiring and poignant, she is a true Woman of Substance.”
