In the spring of 2007, guitarist Rory Lindsay, bassist Tristan Samuk, and drummer Andrew McMullen met vocalist Liana Rose. Calling themselves Ministry of the Environment, they wrote a new set of songs and began playing monthly shows in Toronto venues.
