Midnite Action / Press

“Last we heard from Shotti and Husk-E-Fresh of Midnite Action, they were getting some, well, midnite action from a sexually adventurous Dorm Room Queen. In contrast to that chick’s worldliness, the girl described on their latest promo single is a pastor’s daughter only beginning to dip her toe into the fast life—a situation which could be mighty Troublesome, if she didn’t have the Jersey duo to show her the ropes. Philly buzzmaker YFame jumps on Traxx Trigga‘s upbeat, rock-infused instrumental to deliver a confident guest verse, and London’s Rose Hart caps the record off with a 16 from the perspective of the shawty in question. Booth newcomer Jahn Hendriks handles the hook. Troublesome isn’t part of a larger set but, rest assured, we’ll keep you posted on Midnite Action’s plans going into 2014.”

“Hands down one of my favorite indie Hip Hop Groups.. Always pushing the limits in their own lane!! Always putting out dope records!!!”

“You might not be familiar with the Camden, NJ based music duo "Midnite Action" but you so need to be. Their music can best be described in 2 words: "identity crisis". In the best possible way... Combine hip hop/rap with rock/pop and sprinkle in some comedy and you have a recipe for great music or as I like to call it "Hop Rock". Midnite Action members "Shotgun Shotti" (who happens to be one of my bestest friends) and "Husk-E-Fresh" are gifted musical artists who could moonlight as stand up comedians. These clowns are funny as hell!! I dare anyone to listen to one of their songs and 1) keep a straight face and 2) be able to get the song out of your head. Their music, mostly produced by phenom producer Traxx Trigga owner of "Screwface World Music" record label and studio, is the definition of "catchy" and once you listen to it you never forget it. And you definitely want to hear more. I challenge you to listen to this dynamic duo and not like them. You can't. It's impossible.”

“ While sanity is typiclaly thought of as a desirable state, Jersey duo Midnite Action make a strong case for its opposite on their latest single and first Booth feature. On I Go Crazy, emcees ShotgunShotti and Husk-E-Fresh do just as the title says, spitting about a wild night out over the blistering hip-rock grooves of Traxx Trigga. Like what you’re hearing? Then keep it locked for release details on the twosome’s Midnite Express LP, scheduled for release later this year. ”

“a unique, creative and genre-bending tandem made up of ShotgunShotti and Husk-E-Fresh!”
