Exactly what you think you need
I may not be quite
The classic definition of sweet

I might be clumsy on my feet
My words don’t usually come out neat
But who knows
I may be the one
Who’ll make your world complete

I may have too many
Thoughts fightin’ in my mind
I may stumble over
Unseen obstacles
Like I’m essentially blind

I’m not as hopeless as I seem
My head’s just filled with pretty dreams
Hopin’ I may be the one
You finally realize
You really need

When I stand outside myself I see
What a fool really does
Sometimes I wish you’d ignore me
But usually I just crave your love

I may not be a classic beauty
Like in a magazine
I may not ever create
A life-savin’ vaccine

I’ve got a lot of drawbacks it seems
But don’t eliminate me please
Cuz baby I love you
And maybe that’s just what you need
