Bio
I always loved music, but hearing Pink Floyd's The Wall for the first time in my young teens changed everything. I instantly knew that that was what I wanted to do. I'd found my calling. I picked up a guitar and within a year was cranking out songs, some of which are still tricky to play;) False modestly aside, looking back, I can't believe how fast I advanced in both playing and writing.
***
I'm a die-hard rocker at the core, but I love playing the acoustic, too. I could just as easily be all hard-rock as all-acoustic, but I get bored too easily to anything for too long, so my music is quite eclectic. Whatever I do, I try to keep it catchy. I don't mind being weird sometimes, but I never want to be boring!
About
I'm a one-man-band songwriter. The songs posted here are just the tip of the iceberg, I've written and recorded tons of music. These samplings range from my first recordings in 1996 on a cassette four-track to late-90's/early-'00's digital 8-track stuff to my latest work with my Cakewalk Sonar-based computer studio. If only I'd had this setup way back when...
My music ranges from soft acoustic guitar songs to balls-out hard rock and a lot of strange detours in between. Don't even try to pin me down from one or two songs.
Listening to the songs will tell you more about me than anything I could write. I prefer to let the music do the talking, so give 'em a listen:)
