Bio
Michael Holt and the Trophy 500’s are a dynamic mix of blues, big band swing, rock and roll influences from the 50’s and 60’s, and roots Americana.
Michael has been playing and entertaining crowds for 20+ years. Michael has played all over the U.S., overseas, and can be found locally in Austin at The Continental Club, the Saxon Pub, and Antone's to name a few. Michael has shared the stage with piano great Pinetop Perkins, vocalist Spencer Thomas, pianist Nick Connolly, The Cobra's drummer Rodney Craig, slide player Harry Bodine, bassist Sarah Brown and W.C. Clark. Michael also plays guitar and is the front man for the band Dead In The West and Plays guitar for The Spencer Thomas Band.
