“Allison, who celebrates his 25th anniversary as a music producer this year, also is working with Mia Bergmann, 15, of Margate. Bergmann has already opened for country artists John Michael Montgomery, Josh Gracin and Dustin Lynch.”

“It’s good to know that even if the rise of the Internet means the times they are a-changin’, there are still young musicians like Mia Bergmann to pick the music industry up out of the dirt.”

“The night opened with teen sweetheart Mia Bergman. Only 14 years old (she had her birthday during the event), Mia already has a quite a catalog of songs and showed most of them off during the week. She would also open for the other main acts later in the week as well as play acoustic sets with the other artists during the day.”

"I kind of grew up listening to classic rock. A lot of the Stevie Nicks stuff that I fell in love with, the stuff I really liked, is very similar to country music now," Bergmann said. "Once I really started listening to country, I just realized I fell in love with the music. I love the meanings of the songs. They are not just beats with words to them. It's just real. That's what I love about it," Bergmann said. Bergmann's entertainment opportunities started to escalate when she and her mom traveled to Nashville, Tenn., in June Bergmann wrote the song "Secret Crush" with Keith and Adrienne Follese, one of the top songwriting teams in the city. The couple have written songs for Martina McBride and Jessica Simpson among others. "We wrote that song. It was so much of an experience, and something I will never ever forget," Bergmann said. "Now, when I listen to that song, it's not just the songwriting. It was the whole experience of Nashville."

“With musical influences like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus,Cher and Stevie Nicks, you'd think a 13-year-old singer would be just a little overwhelmed. If that's what you think, then you don't know Mia Bergmann and what drives her, day after day, to be the best. The aforementioned performers are influences, not idols. Bergmann knows the difference. She knows that she can attain the same type of success as Swift or Cyrus because she not only has the talent...she has the motivation. Other people in the industry are starting to take notice, too. Songwriter Keith Follese is one of the ones who has become a fan of Bergmann's. This means a lot since Follese has written hit tunes for Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride and many more. Follese has teamed up with Bergmann on the pop tune "Secret Crush"...”
