UK based Spoken-Word / Hip-Hop artist Metis, originally from California, has performed widely throughout both London and New York. His passionate and fiery delivery traverses the spectrum from race to self-identity to relationships, all unified by a philosophy which is both deeply introspective and personal.

In 2006, Metis first hit the London stage - with feature performances at Poetry in Motion, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Tifa Tifa Fashion Show Premier, Rouge Noir, Stratford East Theatre and Camden Arts Gallery, the impact was immediate. He has also become a regular feature on the Spoken Word circuit, regularly appearing at JAMM, Poetry Cafe, Whitechapel Art Gallery and Troy Bar among others.
