About

MEG, also known as Samantha Gibb, formed her band in Miami Beach, FL in 2002. In the fall of 2006 she and her band decided to rent a house for two months to check out Nashville, TN. In her time spent there, she fell in love with the musicians, the people, the music venues, and the lifestyle that Nashville had to offer. With all the said, she thought the best thing and only thing to do would be to pack their bags and move to Music City. All of them, MEG/Samantha Gibb (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Lazaro Rodriguez (lead guitar and back-up vocals), and Nick Sallons (bass) all lived together in a house which is now their studio, M.E.G. Productions, in East Nashville. Currently, MEG is working on her fourth album as well as writing for and with other artists.

In the Summer of 2007 MEG and her band filmed a documentary entitled, A Nashville State of Mind. The documentary's inspirations came from the musicians and artists they met when they first arrived in Nashville. As they were working on their music and becoming part of the scene, they felt a need to show the kinds of musicians and the different kinds of music emerging from Nashville.
