   You could say singer/songwriter Mechelle Zydenbos is back, but she's never  been away- not really. She's been sitting on the stoop, outside your door, waiting for the right invite into your troubled hearts and darkened minds. Look,I bet she's out there right now.
  From back in the early 90's, playing coffee houses in San Francisco to open mics along the northern east coast, to the electric band MINI JACKET (THE BAND JUNE)-(so ready to make it, that last year they had to go and break it...).
  Mechelle is  officially back on your radar screen and ready to record new songs and some nearly forgotten heartbreaks from her past.
   Zydenbos writes simple chord structured songs, but delivers complex and intriguing lyrics that speak of the black, white and the vast grey in-between with a confident yet heartbreakingly vulnerable vocal style.
   She's not as down as you may first think she sounds though-scratch the surface, and you can hear love's reckless promise sing of it's secret peace and war.There is no doubt that she is a 'believer', if not a "at first, try again" succeed-er.
   Mechelle is hopeful that the new year will bring the success and the listening audience that for years she has been prepping for by wearing out the heart that sits upon her sleeves.
   2009 will bring new direction, a new full length record, new musicians, new venues and new friends into her life, along with some old friends too! Stay tuned. She can't wait to see you there!
