MBS Trio formed to fulfill the needs of music venues seeking small jazz ensembles in the Philadelphia area. In October of 2008 like-minded musicians Marcus Sholar- sax, Justin Sekelewski-bass and Kevin Collins-guitar recorded at Polarity Sound. Agreeing to bring the instrumentation of sax bass and drums per request of their weekly residency Brothers Spano Bar, MBS Trio added the beat of Andy Martinek. The Trio continues to offer various instrumentations to the venues of Greater Philadelphia.
