This years Fuse Festival will see Adelaide Uni bar showcasing Australia's hottest up and coming rock n roll acts. Featuring Stomp the Dog, Mayqueen, My Echo and The Battery Kids. Free Entry!! 8:30 PM - Stomp the Dog (SA) With distinct passion and talent, Stomp the Dog combine great guitar riffs, thundering bass lines and tight drumming to produce hard rock / punk creations. Listening to the band you can hear influences from early Grinspoon, Green Day, The Offspring & the Sex Pistols. 9:30 PM - Mayqueen (SA) Mayqueen, Adelaide melodic hard rock that will blow you away by means of soaring, punchy vocals backed by meaty, savage riffs and shredding solos, in combination with the pure, tangible energy and overwhelming sense of enjoyment that radiates from the stage wherever they may go. 10:30 PM - My Echo (Vic) Honest Aussie Punk Rock from Melbourne City. No gimmicks, no novelties, just 3 young musicians who love what they do. 11:30 PM - The Battery Kids (Vic) Described as "the rock’n’roll soundtrack to a Tim Burton movie", The Battery Kids have their sights set on the black hole that lies somewhere between garage rock and dark pop. Having released their debut album We’re Just Hanging While the Rats All Gather and the Vultures Circle Over Head to a full house at Jive on 11 June 2010, the band has recently made the move from Adelaide to the vibrant rock’n’roll scene in Melbourne.
