When I was small I looked through a window, amazed by all I could see. And ohh how I wished I was outside that window, I couldn't wait to be free.
And daddy will be home soon as I sit by my window and in his arms I will be, and he'll take me outside my window for all the world to see. The love and the laughter will stay alive forever way inside me.
And as I grew older every day taught me something new. I faced all my fears, washed away the tears, often over you.
Now I am old and I look through my window but there's nothing to see. All that I am is inside my window, there's nothing out there for me.
But I remember the love and the laughter my daddy gave to me, and some day soon I'll float through my window, forever free, forever free, forever.
