As a dance-hall and ragga deejay Maurice cooper is setting a new trend in Ugandan music industry with a new blend of sound in music which is appreciated both locally and internationally. Maurice Cooper says :"am not into music by mistake but to set a trend for the ghetto youths" he goes a head to talk about his life and music the artiste draws his inspiration from Jamaican dance-hall music. Maurice Cooper started music in 2007 during the high school days releasing songs like; feel it , come around which had positive vibes.the song got massive air plays on Best FM and Super FM this was said during an interview on Radio city in 2012.
