Matthew's musical career seemed to accelerate at hyper speed following his induction into jam grass pioneers Blueground Undergrass in early 2005. He wrote a majority of the songs on Blueground's 2005 release “Faces”, an album that features jam greats Jimmy Herring and Col. Bruce Hampton.
