Matthew Moran is a songwriter and storyteller Combining smooth musical flow with a strong lyrical cadence, he creates accessible and emotional songs about life, love, and heartache.
From the Johnny Cash stylized rocker, Lonely Mile Man, the blues inflected Dangerous Girl and the sultry Night is Not for Sleeping, to the sweet finger picking ballads, Lady Love and Morning Girl, his gift for evocative lyrics and musical diversity is apparent.
Matt performs around Phoenix, Los Angeles, and elsewhere at coffeehouses, wine bars, house concerts and other intimate venues, engaging his audience with story and song… and a sometimes mischievous sense of humor.
