Matty is just a guy who likes to play, and listen to music. He writes from the heart, and that is key, that is what is important, that is what matters. Matt has learned that people love honesty, that it is not just a catchy riff, or a good voice that will sell a song, but honest lyrics written from the heart, and that is what he does. Sometimes a song is harder to sing in front of people because of how personal they can be, similar to sitting in front of a group of people and reading a page from a journal, but that is what it is, his heart poured out on paper and displayed for everybody to see, and maybe, just maybe people will like what they hear
