“THE AFRO REGGAE FUSION SINGER WHO TYPICALLY COMBINES TRADITIONAL INSTRUMENTS WITH MODERN ONES SAYS THE NEW 12 TRACK ALBUM IS A SOCIAL COMMENTARY ON VARIOUS ISSUES PREVAILING IN THE COUNTRY. pERFORMED MAINLY IN ENGLISH AND NYANJA, DADI MWANA IS TEMBO'S SEVENTH CAREER ALBUM”

“It was by no means an ordinary fever that gripped music lovers that attended Mathew Tembo's album launch of Dadi Mwana at Alliance Francaise last Friday night. From one exciting show to another, the show was indeed one worth attending. Everyone who knows Mathew knows that he cannot be seperated from one of his favourite musical instrument, the marimba, which he passionately played much to the delight of the fans. The audience was however even more delighted when he Mathew and his band performed the song 'Next Year' which was surely a favourite for many sung along to the sentimental song. It was indeed a great show and the CD out in December is surely a must have.”
