Martin Springett  has been passionate about music since he first discovered the three B's in 1963; Bach, The Blues and the Beatles. This lead to playing in high school bands and some years later to his first recording studio experience, settings of poems from Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings". Martin returned to England in the 70's and joined a "prog rock" band that toured Europe. He also created award winning "album" covers for Sony records at this time.  After "emigrating" to Toronto Martin became involved in the world of books and illustrated many children's books and book covers. Constantly composing and recording, Martin has produced four full length C D's featuring some of Toronto's finest musicians. The amazing female voice on "For a Moment" is Canadian music legend Ann Mortifee.  Martin was lucky enough to have Ann sing on several songs on the "Blues for Robbie" C D.  For more information please go to www.martinspringett.com
