Starting as a child drumming on pots and pans in his mother's kitchen, then graduating to blues and jazz standards with his father Harry in the basement on a blue sparkle drumset from Montegomery Wards, then bluegrass, country and rock with brothers Dave and Jim in the barn, Mark Boquist's career now spans 3 decades, both coasts, and more than a dozen records with critically acclaimed artists like Mark Lanegan, Eric Athey, 34 Satellite, Libby Johnson and Dare Dukes.
