“I just got a press release a few hours ago stating that Seattle's premier hip-hop label, Sportn' Life Records, has two new artists officially joining their roster. The first is local R&B singer Marissa (pictured on the left) who's already been doing vocals on songs by Fatal Lucciauno and D. Black for awhile now. You can hear her all over Fatal's The Only Forgotten Son album and based on the work she's already done for the label, the Sportn' Life folks have decided to market her as a solo artist. She's got a single called, "Fed Up" floating around now which you can listen to on her MySpace page.
