Bio
Born into a musical family, early sparks were struck during classical childhood music theory and piano lessons in her native Belgium. Moving to South Africa at the age of 15, these smoldered until when, during her final year of Drama School, an assignment to write music for a production ignited a flame and unlocked the music inside her.
The sounds of Africa, it’s rhythms, beats and singing had already permeated Marie-Anne's being and seemed to fuse freely with the early Baroque music she love...
