A four-piece from Brisbane, Mapletons live to write and play original, melodic and harmony-rich folk/pop songs. Taking influence from artists such as Antony and the Johnsons, The Postal Service and The Beach Boys, members Anita Goldsworthy, Derek Orr, Carl Roosmale-cocq and Mitch Clark ensure their music is equally as emotive and powerful.

Mapletons supported Whitley on the Melbourne leg of his national tour in 2008 and have lots of shows coming up in 2009 ahead of their next EP.
