SPOTLIGHT CONCERT SERIES
The Spotlight Concert is NOT a competition.
What do you as a band/group/musician get?
• Receive a write-up or review of your show in the Inside Connection music magazine.
• Your band/group may be chosen for an interview on The Indie Connection radio show and podcast. The Indie Connection is broadcast on WLIX-FM on Fridays from 8 to 10PM.
• The showcase event may be recorded and/or video taped for additional promotion.
• Each band/group/musician is paid.
• If you bring down the most fans to your Spotlight show (over 100) you will receive 500 of your CDs duplicated.
• Each band will perform a 35-minute set of all original music.
• You can also earn a slot in one of our showcase events. Our showcase events are played on a large stage in front of record label talent scouts, music publishers and tv and movie music scouts.

Every Monday we release the 1st hour of the show on our podcast site. We release the 2nd hour of our show every Wednesday. This podcast is available here.
The Indie Connection is a multi-genre show, so we're not restricted to playing 1 style of music; we've played rock and metal all the way to a flamenco band out of Spain on our show.
There's another benefit to your music being played on our show: we send out a newsletter to select record label talent scouts announcing each show.
