Our song "Little Man" is included on the Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine CD Sampler #5 "Crossed Roads". It was #1 on CASHBOX MAGAZINE'S R&B / HIPHOP TOP TEN PICKS Charts from 8/24/2008 to 2/8/2009 and is still in the top ten! This song placed second in The KIAC Best of 2009 Open Songs Competition, Rhythm and Blues/Soul Category. “Blue Guitar" was included on the CD "Blues from the Burgh" a collection of songs by blues bands from Pittsburgh, PA and produced by The Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania. Mahajibee songs are receiving airplay on local and regional blues radio stations as well as in Europe, Canada and Australia.

"Mahajibee is a tight band and this CD shows that. See them live, too.
You will not be disappointed.”
- Jim Weber, Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania

This Pittsburgh-based band is still humbled by what has transpired over the last nine years. They have shared the spotlight with an assortment of professional oldies, rock and blues artists, performed at some of the largest Tri-State Festivals, Blues Festivals, Community Festivals, and Summertime Concert Series’. Mahajibee is honored to have participated in local fundraisers and have performed for 911, Katrina victims of New Orleans, The Sago Mine disaster victims of West Virginia, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and Disabled American Veterans,
& Pittsburgh Police Tribute to Fallen Heroes.

On Saturday, October 11, 2008, Mahajibee Blues performed at the third largest blues festival in the nation, The 23rd Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival (better known as “The King Biscuit Blues Festival”) in Historic Helena, AR. They were picked from over 200 artists, bands and performers who applied to participate in the festival's “Emerging Artist Contest.” This contest has created excitement in the music world as “Blues Revue” and “Beale Street Caravan” (nationally syndicated radio program), joined as the national media sponsors.

The band is driven by two guitars (Garruba & Holbdy), harmonica - keyboards (Tevis), bass (Ambrass) and drums (McConnell). They visit all styles of the blues and invite you to a nearby festival to enjoy a live performance. Many of their shows are "All ages and Free" so bring the family and don't forget to stop by the tent to say "hello" after the show!
