Q: Good afternoon Becca, There has to be a story behind the creation of 'The Raisin'. with its haunting middle eastern/Slavic-seeming sounds. Please tell us what inspired you. ~~~Magicsong

A: i always wanted to develop a gypsy flair to my lead work unfortunatly i don't know any gypsy guitar players to learn from so i teach myself from bits and pieces i call it racoon gypsy i have not mastered it to the point of being able to play it with my eyes open yet its one of those things where you close your eyes and jump in hoping for the best :) i enjoy the dark haunting flavor and plan to do another piece soon :)
