Q: Hello! Just heard you play and must say you are incredible. So much feel and musicianship. What do you practice to get such a controlled, groove heavy sound from your drums?
A: Thanks for the question. The musical aspects of my drumming come from studying jazz as well as mallet percussion. Articulation, dynamics all that transfered well to the drumset. Get involved in all styles of music. Except country. Good luck to you.
