Bio
Machine Gun was formed in May of 2004, but these players have performed for quite a few years. Based out of Wilmington, NC, this line up is a perfect match.Tommy Brothers on guitar, Tony Mallard on percussion Caryn Dunayer on Keys & guitar, and John White on bass. With an impressive tight rhythm section mixed with tremendous guitar virtuosity and vocals, Machine Gun takes it to the next level. A talent level in which most bands cant reach.

Developing from just something to do for fun, to something that has become much bigger is the story of Machine Gun, one of the best cover bands from the Wilmington area. Period.
“Early on it was more about what we wanted to play,” explains John White. “But as time went on we took into consideration what people wanted to hear.” They dropped the tribute concept and began to cover songs of the ‘70s and ‘80s.
Joined by Tommy Brothers, Tony Mallard and, Caryn Dunayer on keyboards, White admits that the secret of their success is not only their enthusiasm toward pleasing the audience night after night, but what each member brings to the band.
“We are lucky to have so many people come to our shows and have a good time,” says White. “If it weren’t for our fans we would be just another garage band.”
