APALSA Alumni/Student Event: Chinatown Tour and Lunch! **Please register by September 19th so that we can confirm our reservation for lunch!** Come meet APALSA Alumni and learn about the socio-political history of Chinatown on this interactive tour that ends with a fabulous lunch at Vin Sun in Chinatown! This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow APALSA members and members of the APALSA alumni network! Additionally, it's a great way to get to know the Asian American community in Boston, and find out ways to get involved. (And, of course, eat fantastic Chinese food.) We will begin with a tour, starting at 10:30 in front of the Chinese Progressive Association followed by lunch at Peach Farm at noon. (take the orange line to Tufts Medical Center!) Laurence Louie, the Youth Organizer at the Chinese Progressive Association, is donating his time to conduct the tour, and is donating all proceeds from the tour to APALSA. Organizations are typically charged over $200 to have a tour, so any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated! Suggested amount is sliding scale: $5 low-income/student$20 working professionals Thanks so much and we can't wait to see you there!
