BIOGRAPHY
Luke Ritchie has just begun recording and performing a new collection of solo material, after years of touring and recording with his band Sevenball. Their debut album The Wild Turkey Sessions was released last year, and described by Blues Matters!magazine as a "a blistering rock album[...]Their leading light is vocalist Luke Ritchie, who definitely has a Paul Rodgers feel about him as he commands every song".
His voice has already drawn the attention of a varied group of artists. Radio 1’s Mary-Anne Hobbes passed a CD of his work on to Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland, and the two were in discussions on his new project “Eat the Day” before he returned Fred Durst.
More recently, Luke returned from Prague after working on the soundtrack to Horem Padem, one the most successful films ever made in the Czech Republic. The director Jan Hrejbek and composer Ales Bresina heard Luke’s voice in London, and invited him over to the Czech Republic to work on the film’s soundtrack.
