Q: How did your band come to wright a song about Cherokee Indians (Native Americans)? My early years were in Oklahoma. Back then the Trail Of Tears was taught as part of Oklahoma history.
A: Hey Don! Thank you very much for showing interest in our work! We appreciate that! Back to your question: There is (of course) no simple answer since the source of inspiration is often a bit cloudy and blurred. When writing this song we started with the instrumental part and added the lyrics afterwards. The Trail of Tears was a topic I came across several years ago and remembered when I mused about the lyrics. Some hours later the song was complete. I hope this answeres your question. And if you like songs with a kind of historical background, you should stay tuned for one of our next recordings. A song named "King of Cowards" :-) Best wishes Lost Nature
