Loop Left was brainstormed by Mike LaFlower in Spring 2003 while on the road in Boston, MA. Shortly after returning from his long journey on the East Coast, Mike formed the band while living in Louisville, KY. He recruited bass player Mike Phillips, drummer Brad Zant, and guitar player Kevin Holden. They played shows with bands such as Tantric, Mungus and other local acts around the river city.
