Liz grew up in a musical family, and her background is classical, folk, and rock. She performs a mixture of traditional ballads and folk songs, as well as contemporary material. She has performed with John Whelan, North Cregg, and The Sevens, among others. She released her first solo album in 2006, entitled "The Whole World Round". She is currently the lead singer for the hip, neo-trad band Annalivia, and is also one fourth of the new all-female band Long Time Courting.
