About Liz Hackett:

 

Born in Ft. Collins, CO, singer/songwriter Liz Hackett was raised in Sacramento, CA and Apex, NC, and now again lives in the Sacramento area.  Her ability to speak to the common experiences of people, with the sincerity of her lyrics, captivates her audience and touches the soul. Whether about love or life, Liz sings from the heart with a rare sweetness of voice. 

 

Thanks to the two-time ASCAP Award-winning producer John DeGrazio, Liz was able to work with well-known manager Jason Davis, president/CEO of Fahrenheit Media Group, who helped her meet with A&Rs at Warner Brothers, Atlantic, Interscope, Aftermath, Universal, Sony, Def Jam, Bad Boy, Geffen, and Virgin Records. At those meetings Liz presented several R&B songs she had recorded with a top producer in Los Angeles.   

 

She later tapped into her Pop/Rock side and wrote and recorded “Blame It on My Heart.” Most recently Liz has been blessed and privileged to write and record her newest songs “Already Gone” and “Within Me” with John DeGrazio.

 

Liz is thankful for all the professional help from her friend John DeGrazio, Jason Davis, Rich Andruska, Courtney McManus, Damon, Roy, Kiera, Spencer, George Tricomi, Eleonor England, Beverly Rivers, Bruce Bolin, Skittles, and to her wonderfully supportive friends and family. Most importantly she is thankful to God.
