In the tradition of British guitar bands that have always favoured musical substance over superficial style, Portsmouth's Little London are clearing a path with their juggernaut of rock and roll.
Little London were formed in 2004 by front man Dev Crawford, and was soon joined by Matti G (Drums). In 2007, Sam Carter-Brazier (Guitar) and D (Bass) joined to complete the Little London line-up.
Imagine The Wildhearts, but heavier; The Almighty, but less stuck up. Imagine straight-up rock music: guitars that crunch; bass that punches hard; drums that drive. Now garnish with strong vocals, delivering lyrics about regrets, hangovers and the highs and lows of life on the seamy side. Can you picture that? Good - but you're still not even close.
