After the performance, Nashville Pride 2003 will provide a space for Clint to sell CDs and other merchandise after the performance for about 20 minutes. Nashville Pride Celebration to be Held in Centennial Park On Saturday, June 7, 2003 Nashville’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered event will conclude in a parade down Elliston Place and a festival in Centennial Park that is expected to draw more than 10, 000 people. The festival will include food, entertainment, and a children’s play area, which was one of the more popular areas of last year’s event. More than 100 vendors and booths representing community organizations, political groups, artisians, media outlets and others will also be present for what organizers of the event are calling one of Nashville’s largest ever Pride Festivals. Last year’s festival attracted over 5,000 people and only one lone protester holding a sign that read “You have nothing to be proud of.” The parade will begin at 11:00 AM at 21st Avenue and Elliston Place and travel along Elliston to Centennial Park.
