"the bands california sound revolves around an intriguing blend of new wave, surf and alternative rock." -paul rowe Little Black Bats formed in 2007 with songwriter Ken Chesmore playing guitar and doing the vocal work. A few years later, Little Black Bats aquired its final members to make a complete line up.Jeff Mutchler on drums, James Crum Jr bass, Alex Gimelli on lead guitar & Megan Hake vocals. They have been out playing shows nearly every weekend since April 2010 trying to gain a strong reputation as Sacramento's next big act to watch out for. They are still currently working on getting a full length album out but is expected to be completed in the near future. Keep a look out for Little Black Bats in a city near you and support the local music scene!
