Am I listening, do I have capacity?
I want maturity,
Who could love the likes of me?
I’m glistening,
because I know
I’m a fish out of water
a young bird falling from a tree

Why is it that I do the things that I don’t want to do?
I suffer because I want to be obedient, it’s true.
Just when I think I walk the line the line turns into two.
I’m a sinner, I have a double mind but His love continues to...
take my heart from stone to clay, He gives me hope and leads the way.

I want to hear His voice inside my head.
I’m sure I’ll never tire from His words
of truth and life and fire
In the world I see the tears,
the sweat and all the blood.
I’m running faster to my destiny,
that's to my Father’s love.
But still I tread the water’s waves,
I dream the dreams and crave the craves.
I’m a sinner but I've been set free,
only He will have the best of me
