Formed by guitarist Jonathan Craven in 2000, LIQUID SKY first gained attention with their EPs Adrenochrome (2001) and Nightfall (2003) and the album Bloodline (2004). These records were fuelled by searing twin guitars and a new take on the female vocals in metal phenomenon and featuring songs that showcased a never-before-heard mix of metal ferocity and beautiful melody, they helped the band develop and solidify a reputation as Britains best-kept metal secret.
However, LIQUID SKY really began to develop their true potential once outstanding vocalist Hecate Taglietti joined the fold in 2004. Since then, the band have garnered ever-increasing support and praise from fans and media alike.                                  

Riding high on the success of their previous releases and a wave of fan support, the band is soon to unleash their brand new album Identity on the waiting public. As Jonathan says, The new album has all of those trademarks that make metal great massive riffs, instantly recognisable melodies and wailing solos. Weve created a hard and dynamic metal sound, but one with an accessible side as well. Identity is the perfect demonstration of exactly where LIQUID SKY is right now - a combination of melody and power; the perfect balance of light and darkness.
