Houston Roxx is a unique festival concept combining an intimate old school block-party feel with a hip metropolitan city swag. With the City of Houston’s awesome skyline serving as the backdrop, the festival will be situated on two city blocks starting at the corner of Washington Avenue & Silver Street. In the heart of the Lower Washington Cultural Arts District located in the Historic First & Sixth Wards, festival goers are sure to be inspired as they explore the arts market, participate in an interactive art installation, or watch a Graffiti artist do their thing! Houston Roxx is a two day music & arts street festival that by day embodies the urban explosion of Houston’s art scene and by night turns into the city’s largest street party celebrating the diversity that makes the Bayou City “Forbes 2012 Coolest City”. Whether dancing in the streets as the sun sets or strolling the streets taking in the sights at the festival, a good time will be had by all! Exciting art & music, delicious food, great causes, rich history and the best people…always so many reasons the great city of Houston Roxx! Mark your calendars, tell your friends and we will see you May 4th & 5th!
