About

"Lillywhite" began in October of 2006. Brad Salter and Dave Graham were attending The Art Institute of Vancouver at the time. Dave had a song, but he needed a drummer. Brad was that drummer. They teamed up with Fingersmoran on bass and recorded "What's to Come," now rebuilt and renamed "What's This?" In March of 2007, Phil Puxley's guitar skills entered the picture. For over six months, Dave and Phil jammed out new ideas as they became acoustomed to each others playing styles. The three musicians began to jam these ideas out into fully structured songs, but the lack of a skilled bassist remained a constant headache. In October of 2007, after weeks of auditioning countless bassists, Zev Weiss walked into the studio with a couple of basses. The jam that followed was perhaps the best jam Dave, Brad and Phil had partaken in a few years. Zev joined the crew and the writing continued. The band is currently working on recording a full studio album and hopes to have it completed by July 2008. It will be available as a traditional CD or on iTunes for download. If you like what you hear, be a fan, drop us a line or come out to one of our shows. Cheers!
