Welcome to Lightning Type's page on Reverb Nation! A hairy four-piece with a point to prove, Lightning Type pound noisily beneath the self-erected banner of Anthemic Art-Rock.

Formed in South Africa, Lightning Type moved to London and began a new phase of their career in 2007. With an EP almost ready for release (and a clutch of free, hand-assembled CDs available only at gigs), Lightning Type combine custom graphics and great hair with muscular riffs and electronic gizmodgery.
