About
Libby Johnson was a founding member of the band 22 Brides with her sister, singer/songwriter/guitarist, Carrie Johnson. Critically-acclaimed for their blend of sixties-pop, swirling folk harmonies, and haunting lyrics, 22 Brides released three albums on the Zero Hour and Universal labels and spent the 90s on the road touring. Johnson’s solo debut, “Annabella,” released on Wrong Records in 2006, was Libby's first solo album. Four of the songs were featured in the film “Trust The Man," written and directed by Bart Freundlich. Johnson's songs are noted for their evocotive lyrics and her distinctive voice. Her new album "Perfect View," will be released April, 2009.
