"the venue didn’t do justice to Levi Lowrey. It was a southern indie rock band with slight christian/alcoholic tendencies and some badass violin. They rocked. I bought their album I’ve Held The Devil’s Hand, and several people have asked me for a copy.
“Whiskey soaked Dacula dweller Levi Lowrey and his band churn out blues inflected electric stomps, and fiddle bouncing campfire country in roughly equal parts highlighted by honeysuckle sweet harmonies, Lowrey's accomplished fiddling and occasional haunting lap steel lines”
“Levi Lowrey is a very gifted musician from Dacula, GA. He is the great-great-Grandson of Bluegrass legend and Country music Hall of Famer Gideon “Gid” Tanner. Mix in a love for Rock & Roll, the original lyrics of an “old soul”, gifted abilities with an acoustic guitar, great soft vocals. ”
“Levi Lowrey opened for Darrell and his performance was amazing. It was neat to see Levi as he seemed to be honored to be opening for him. Levi had only a few homemade CD’s which were sold out quickly. He could have sold a lot more based on the crowd’s reaction to his performance. ”
