Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Lenny started studying classical piano at the age of six.
In 1979, Lenny immigrated with his family to the U.S., settling in New York where he started learning jazz. Influenced by his classical education, classic rock, European pop music, jazz and new age, Lenny developed his own unique style of writing.
