I started playing in 1988 at the wee age of 17 (late starter, I know) when I hooked up with a friend of a friend, who happened to be a local guitar teacher (John Geddes - see my recommendation list).  I got a few lessons from him and the rest is history! If you heard my early recordings, you'd laugh your ass off...

Nowadays I do it for myself, mainly.  I had been out of commission for a few years only recently picking up the axe again and trying to re-vamp my chops. Ah, only time will tell...

My philosophy has always been "play what you want, play how you want, practice your ass off, and %&$# the rest who would see (and hear) you do otherwise!"

As such, I'm just another Canadian musician who plays to get all those ideas out of his head and onto some sort of media or into someone else's ears (I hope).

Update - May 2008:

I have recently joined a local band called "Stoned Sober."  Right now we're moving forward and getting some covers together but will be writing to fill out the bill.  As soon as we have some tunes recorded, I will be setting up camp in ReverbNation!

**** Also, now looking for a vocalist for Stoned Sober - needs to be rock-oriented, male or female (we'll adjust our song list accordingly).  Somewhat in the style of AC/DC, Southern Rock, etc.   Also, we don't mind the partying type, but we need someone who can focus and get the job done!
